New Delhi, September 19, 2022: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), on Sunday, September 18, revealed Team India’s new jersey for T20Is. The BCCI took to their official Twitter handle and wrote, “To every cricket fan out there, this one’s for you. Presenting the all new T20 Jersey – One Blue Jersey by @mpl_sport. #HarFanKiJersey #TeamIndia #MPLSports #CricketFandom”

The Indian women’s team is currently taking part in a three-match ODI series against Amy Jones’ England. The men’s team, captained by Rohit Sharma, is set to lock horns with Aaron Finch’s Australia in a T20I series, which is scheduled to get underway on Tuesday, September 20.

In the meantime, fans put in their reactions on India’s new T20I jersey. One of the fans said that if there is no tri-colour on the national jersey, ‘INDIA’ should be removed from it. “If you are not putting Tricolor on the jersey, then don’t write INDIA on it. Just write Byju’s BCCI Worst feeling,” the fan wrote.
Another fan said that the ‘unlucky’ dark blue colour should have been removed. The fan wrote, “decent. could’ve avoided the unlucky dark blue all together though.”
